Punctuation: One & Done (Winter/Spring 2025)
Give them (and their teachers) the gift of proper punctuation with a one-time, one-hour class that laser-focuses on a single subject.
Choose from three individual sessions:
Dialogue/Sources — Learn how to properly punctuate (and structure!) dialogue within a story. Students will also learn how to apply and adapt these rules for quoting sources in academic papers.
Commas 1: The Concrete Rules — Lists, locations, dates, names, interjections, and conjunctions
Commas 2: Rules Requiring Personal Judgment — Introductory phrases, restrictive vs. nonrestrictive phrases, dependent vs. independent clauses, adjectives, that vs. which
Open to 6th–12th graders.
3 individual sessions, 60 minutes each
