Classes Start Soon!

And thank goodness for that. As soon as I said goodbye to the last book club of the summer, we were moving furniture and pulling chair rail off the walls. The Wordshop’s classroom (our dining room) is getting a full overhaul before we welcome kids back into our home next week. Everything in the room is new: paint, carpet, chairs, cabinetry, even the table I scored on Facebook Marketplace has been completely refurbished. I smell like paint stripper. I’ll be spending the next four days building IKEA cabinets in my garage, but it’ll be worth it to see the looks on the kids’ faces. This room is going to be absolutely magical.
